The majority of ViaHEY! travelers are women traveling solo. Buenos Aires has a vibrant, confident culture that is generally welcoming to independent women. Annelise provides comprehensive safety briefings, all housing is in safe neighborhoods, and you'll have her personal number throughout your trip.

ViaHEY! travelers range from their mid-20s to early 70s. There is no age requirement. UCA classes are mixed-age by design, and the afternoon experiences work for all fitness and mobility levels — Annelise will note any physical requirements during the planning call.

All programs include: UCA Spanish classes, housing (your chosen type), selected afternoon experiences, airport transfers (arrival and departure), and pre/post-trip planning support with Annelise. International flights are not included — you book those separately.

Buenos Aires is excellent value for North Americans and Europeans. Budget roughly $40–70 USD per day for meals, public transport, and incidental spending. Dinners at quality Palermo restaurants are typically $15–25 USD, and coffee is under $2.

Changes are possible up to 60 days before departure, subject to housing availability. Annelise will work with you to adjust your itinerary. The deposit is non-refundable inside 30 days of departure; a full refund policy applies otherwise.

Travel insurance with medical coverage is strongly recommended and required for all ViaHEY! programs. Annelise will recommend specific policies that work well for Argentina and can advise on what coverage levels to look for.

UCA classes are reassessed after the first day. If you're in the wrong level, you move. It happens — no embarrassment attached. The program is designed to meet you where you are, not where you think you should be.
