ViaHEY! Study Abroad ("ViaHEY!", "we", "us") provides immersive language and culture programs in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Information we collect

Inquiry details. When you submit the "Plan My Trip" form, we collect your name, email address, and any phone number, program interest, Spanish level, referral source, and message you provide.
Account details. If you create an account, we store your name and email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Trip & inquiry history. Inquiries you submit while signed in, and any trips we set up for you, are saved to your account so you can review them.
Technical data. Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and troubleshooting.

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry and plan your trip.
To create and manage your account and show your trips and inquiries.
To send you account-related emails, such as password-reset links.
To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in to your account and to keep your session secure. This cookie is required for the site's account features to work and does not track you across other websites. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out.

How your information is stored

Your information is stored in a database on the server that hosts this website. Passwords are hashed using the bcrypt algorithm. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Third parties

To send emails (such as inquiry notifications and password resets), we use an email service provider. The information shared is limited to what is needed to deliver those messages. We may also share information where required by law.

Data retention

Children
